Kristi Zea
Jonathan Demme worked with Kristi Zea on the four feature-length, fiction films, he made prior to The Truth About Charlie. She was also credited as an associate producer on Philadelphia, and as second unit director on Beloved. Zea was one of the directors of the Demme-produced "Women & Men 2." Her other repeat collaborators have included James L. Brooks (as costume designer on Terms of Endearment and, as a producer, on Broadcast News and As Good As It Gets), Alan Parker (as costume designer on Fame, Shoot the Moon, and Birdy, and as art director on Angel Heart), and Martin Scorsese (New York Stories, Goodfellas). She has also worked with George Miller (Lorenzo's Oil), Barry Levinson (Sleepers), George Roy Hill (Little Drummer Girl), and Lawrence Kasdan (Silverado). In 2002, Zea reprised her design of Hannibal Lecter's prison cell, from The Silence of the Lambs, in Red Dragon.
